I feel annoyed because of this! Am I really that bad???

The poll option on Twitter annoys me tbh, regardless of what your current videos are like I would've been fighting the urge to vote "no" too (I haven't done this to anyone yet but I've seen similar questions that make me want to).
I think when the question is posed in a way that gives away what the poll creator wants you to respond with, it attracts people to be rebellious. If your videos were really that bad people would be voting with their subscriber / follower counts, not Twitter :)

This is really funny. I made a poll on Twitter the other day that went:

"Should I make a Twitter poll?"
- No
- Who are you?

And everyone that saw it voted "Who are you" lol. People will always pick the troll option when given the chance. It's basic human psychology.

Anyway, at the end of the day, the only person that can motivate you to make content is yourself. Asking people if you should make content is ridiculous. Either do it, or don't. There's an expectation if you run a Youtube channel that you're going to make more videos, so just make more videos or close down your channel. Don't ask Twitter if you should keep doing what they expect you to do lol...

That's what happens when you come into contact with a bunch of trolls. I know I have at least a few, since they dislike my videos shortly after they go up. Ignore them, ignore the poll and YouTube on.

I wouldn't let a poll decide if I make a video, nor would I ask such a question. I make videos cause I love making them, and sharing my ideas, and seeing other peoples ideas. Creating discussion is an awesome feeling. Whether I have 0 people who enjoy my stuff or millions. I love creating videos and will do so as long as I enjoy it, and I know there are others out there who would and do love to hear my ideas, and see what new things I have done in the video medium.

In short do videos because you enjoy doing videos. The support and following will come with time.

Arcanum

What were you trying to accomplish with this poll anyways? Don't ask. Just do.
This is the right answer here.

You ask dumb questions you're going to get dumb answers. Some guys can get away with that kind of thing, especially if their fanbase happens to consist of a bunch of fangirls (not saying his does or anything).

Secondly, if you're going to worry about what people think so much, you're not going to have a good time making Youtube videos. There are better ways of determining if your content is good or not, and most of them are in analytics (relative retention, etc) and even can be found in the like/dislike ratio.

Good luck with your channel.

Don't ask questions when you can't stand the answer. The question which videos to make or when to make them is about the most annoying one you could ask me.

The threads you make here are really whiny. Also, obvious guy says, why are you asking if you should make a video, you should want to make a video. Also you've published 3 videos in the past 2 months dude.
