I Don't Trust AdSense, what should I do?

Is there an alternative to monetize your videos besides AdSense? I heard about networks, but how does that work? When choosing a network, can you do both adsense and networks or do you have to choose only 1 way to monetize your videos? If there is a great alternative, I want to avoid Google as much as possible. I heard about the freedom network, which sounds very promising.

Avoiding Google is going to be hard as they own YouTube, but to answer your question, in order to monetize you need an Adsense account or a network, the latter you're just connected to the network's Adsense.

I heard that Freedom has its own program of monetization and that you don't need Adsense for it. Is this true?

Like who? What have they said?
That Google is super strict and they were accused of invalid activity, just because people tend to screw them by clicking or doing stuff. I can't believe why Google, a large company, can't do the one thing other services were able to provide: disabling clicks of IP addresses or reducing the payment of invalid clicks, instead of banning the user who has done nothing wrong. This issue remained on Google Adsense, and that's why people are still complaining. What if it happens to me? This can happen.

Because a lot of YouTubers are complaining against Adsense. That's why it lost my trust.
You have to take what the large numbers of people are saying with a grain of salt. For every thousand people that start a YouTube channel, only a few are going to actually make real money at it. There's just so much competition.

So, there are going to be a lot of people looking for reasons they didn't succeed. Most people don't like blaming themselves, or admitting that luck and random chance play a large role, so they will blame Google, Adsense, YouTube, etc. The result is that it will seem like a lot of people are mad at Adsense. The people who are happy with Adsense aren't going to spend much of their time defending it--they're too busy making new videos so they can make more money.

The truth is that Adsense doesn't have to do anything illegal or shady to make money--they have more content providers than they'll ever need, and more sets of eyes on their ads than ever before.

Instead of looking for alternatives to Adsense, try to look at what you can control and see if there's ways to improve your odds of success. Otherwise, YouTube might just not be for you--there are other ways to be successful outside of YouTube, but if online video is what you want to do, you really need to include YouTube as a major part of your audience.

Well I just started out. I love making videos, I am even studying Film. But please read the above comment, that I have explained why people are complaining against Adsense. It's not because of their lack of success, they are not small Youtubers who posted videos about Adsense. It's because of... well you can read it above :) thank you for your reply.

PS: I have more views on my videos than I ever thought it was possible for a beginning channel of a week. But I just don't trust Adsense[DOUBLEPOST=1411837706,1411831737][/DOUBLEPOST]A letter of a former Google employee.

This is uploaded by dallasgoldbug. Watch this on youtube and listen to this example of many others I have heard of. /watch?v=9sAiFMv62gc

Google has been stealing money from people the whole time. Just when they are expecting the payment from Google, it closes down, even if they have done nothing wrong. They keep the money to themselves.

I don't have 21 minutes to listen to a video by someone who disabled comments, won't show their face, and is reading from an anonymous letter by someone claiming to be a former Google employee...I might as well watch Bigfoot videos! It's better to base your decisons on hard facts.

Anyway, with any large organization you're always going to have a sub-group of people who are disenchanted with it. If you're afraid that this might happen to you, keep in mind that even this group who feels they were "screwed over" represents a very small portion of all YouTubers. The idea of not wanting to do something based on the results of a small sub-population of YouTubers doesn't seem like a clear decision.

If you don't want to use Adsense, I wish you luck finding alternatives, I really do. Please let us know how it goes!
