I don't do this for views, but it would be nice

I upload gaming videos onto my channel, I have a small fanbase of 8 subscribers, where only about one of them is active. I upload my content becase I was bored and it was really fun to do, but I've started getting more serious with my editing, and though it was fun to edit I wonder if anyone else will actually get to see my videos. I guess even though I do this for fun a part of me still wants to be known.

Do any of you get this feeling too?

All the time bud. It's only natural. I too am a small channel with 21 subs and hitting anywhere between 20 to 60 views. Sometimes less. However!!
You gotta just hang in there, carry on doing what you are doing and just enjoy yourself in the videos. Keep that level of editing also!
As gaming channels, we have a huge amount of competition so its no suprised we will be swamped. Law of averages say however that one day things will spark and really hit off. Its just a case of people finding you amongst a sea of others.

I do improvised comedy gaming vids. Me and my friend prettend to be a very bizzare couple of old ladies. I love recording and editing them, it's hilarious. i just wish others could enjoy our madness too haha!

of course! I love seeing my views go up, I don't actually get that many views considering the amount of subscribers I have but that may be the type of videos i do as some videos get a lot more views in a small amount of time and some get barely any, but youtube makes me so happy and sometimes I do videos that are so much fun to film, i spend the rest of the day giggling, and that's the most important feeling of all. Everyone does youtube to be noticed as well as have fun :)

I think everybody wants to get the most views possible, but for me seeing nice comments is more satisfying then a view tbh
