I created short that is just over a minute. Help!!

I created short that is just over a minute and it uploaded it like it was a horizontal 16x9 video even though it is a 9x16 vertical. It is listed in the video section and not the shorts section. When played, it plays the vertical format in the 16x9 window. What did I do wrong. Is there a special setting. It has never happened before. It is
1minute 4 seconds.
