I can't take you seriously if. . .

CoolMoo5

I Love YTtalk
There are tons of people who upload content and want to be famous or least have somewhat of an audience. These are some things I just can't take seriously if a content creator does these things. Sorry, but you aren't going to be famous if you you do these things.

If you claim to be a YouTuber. I can't take you seriously if. . .
  • There are no videos on your channel
  • Your profile picture and banner are still the default
  • You have less then three videos on your channel (unless you just started your channel)
  • You do sub4sub and tell others to do the same
  • You spam other peoples channels for the sole intention of self promotion
  • You create fake accounts to reply and thumbs to your own self promotion comments
  • You put the wrong links, misspelling or using the wrong links to your social media sites
  • Your username has more then four numbers in it
  • Your business e-mail has more then four numbers in it
  • Your YouTube name, twitter name, instagram name, etc are all completely different and unrelated to eachothwr (this does not mean all your usernames have to be exactly the same)
  • Your thumbnails are straight from google images
  • You spam the description with tags (btw, this is against YouTube's terms of service)
  • You spend the first minute of almost every video talking about how you sorry you are you haven't made a video in a while
  • You think you better then everyone else just because you make videos
  • You think you deserve a million subs when you have only been making videos a few months
Feel free to add more and show this thread to people who do these things.

  • You copy word for word what your favourite YouTube "star" says
  • You use Windows Live Movie Maker (bluergh)
  • You complain about the money you're not earning

Says the one with 4 subscriber... I agree with most of what you say but most of this is common sense and you really just sound judgmental. Besides, its not like anyone who is serious about youtube will make these mistakes anyway.
I'm not trying to be hateful. I'm just saying maybe you should wait till your famous, then tell people how to get there.
Thanks,

I was bored and I know these seem obvious, but I thought why not post them. And yes, I just started new channel yesterday and I have three subscribers. But I have been on YouTube for awhile I'm not new to YouTube. I'm not telling people what to do and I wasn't trying to be judgmental.

I see a lot of people on here who come into the forum and ask you to view their channel and they literally haven't posted a video in months.

Sub 4 sub is for people who just wish to be popular, and it builds an incredibly dead audience. No one is genuinely interested in your channel. They just want as many people subbing as possible.

And people who don't post and spend a while apologizing... I see too many of them...

Number one just drives me crazy. If you cant bother to put up at least one original video that you personally created, you sure as s**t should't be able to comment on the quality of my videos. I don't care if it's a video of you tying your shoes, at least it would be something you created and I would take you more seriously. If you want respect you need to put yourself out there like all the other content creators. Sorry, this one just bugs the heck out of me...........and PUT A DAMN PICTURE OF YOUR FACE ON YOUR CHANNEL not a picture of some hot chick if your a guy.

Thanks, I feel better now.

Yeah it always looks weird when a guy puts a pic of some model on the profile. Yeah maybe he checks her out but I can't help but associate the channel with Hottie McBoobies on the profile pic.
