There has been lots of discussion over tags and SEO on this forum, and while everything is still uncertain, I have not yet seen any evidence that you can "over saturate" a key word.

The alternative example you provided had a wider variety of tags, but also was full of some keywords that were highly generic by their lonesome and wouldn't really help SEO much according to some of the other stuff I read on this forum.

I actually was using a tactic from someone else who had commented on this thread who said that targeting longer tags would be beneficial. Are you saying that I could have done "what do you mean" once and then add separate tags for words like "lyrics, music video, etc."? I've actually found that I've been ranked higher in search results for a certain video I tried that tactic for. Just wanted to get clarity.

It would be more beneficial to use the song title. Then put the song title in three separate tags. After that put singers name, album title, music genre. The video will rank better in searches that way.
 
I think doing collabs and being active on other people's channels (not spamming but actually giving feedback) is a great way to grow! Now I know the overall goal isn't to have other content creators watching ur videos, but to have their support can go farther than you might think and not only that, by them watching as well, it brings more people in overall. Plus opens the opportunities to collab and etc.

But at the end of the day man, just be urself, have fun with it, and don't pay too much attention to the numbers :)! Sounds easier said than done but trust me! I just post whatever I feel like it and don't worry at all about analytics and people seem to enjoy the vids as well! Just stay positive and remember, Rome wasn't built in one day! Take ur time and good things will come ur way :D!

Awesome videos, I am new and trying to rank up in points hopefully I will be able to share my content soon! and get some feedback on my vids:)
