I can't decide the type of videos I want to make

I think you should find ways to have fun with what you're doing instead of stressing yourself out like this. I find that whenever I'm delaying a project is because I really don't like that project..

I would say do it all. As a beginning person starting out in the art of creating stuff, we have no idea what to do half the time due to our fears of maybe it's not good enough or maybe it's not the perfect thing for me or maybe no-one will like it since it's not really me, etc. I believe this is all a part of the process, you should try your best in all of them and that will filter them out and you will eventually realise what it is that you like and want to pursue. This could take months but everyone had to do this!

And those days where you have tried and turned up with no end product, I wouldn't consider that as a failure. I would consider that as learning more about yourself and honing your skills in speaking, editing, etc.

And remember, pretty much everyone has crappy "first drafts." It's hard to get it right the first time. So try stuff and improve in it. Just do what you want.

Think Twice or Think Trice before making one =) feel what is better for you so you will not regret it on the future =) Good luck! =)

I would experiment on your gaming videos, try new things and find what you enjoy the most! That's how it was when I started, I did a let's play but it got too boring after a while. So I did gaming videos of just normal games to play for a video and have fun with! it gave me a huge diversity of games to play and I enjoy it the most! Just keep trying to experiment until you are satisfied with the type of videos you enjoy making the most!

Honestly, I would go through other peoples videos and find one kind that really inspires you. Forcing yourself to record a certain type of video may get a video uploaded, but it won't get the views a passionate video would. You have to be passionate about what you do. Sure, trying each video may find one that you like, but I truly believe that you have to be inspired to create something amazing.

I've been on here before about this topic, but it's really starting to get to me again. So much so that I'm starting to not post videos very often. I have a gaming channel...but I'm very poor at finding the right kind of gaming videos to make. Live Commentaries, Let's Plays, Post-Commentaries, Tutorials, etc. Then there gets down to the style of my commentary and the style of how the video is edited and played out. Normally whenever I am skeptical about making a video I'll literally just end up waiting it out because I wont be able to decide...and I'll end up wasting the day for video making. Or I'll record the video then not put the effort to edit it...because of this. Is there any tips on finding a resolution?
I made themed days! So on mondays, let's plays, tutorial tuesday, etc. maybe? (obvs depending on what days/how often you post) and then just treat it like a job. you gotta get it done. I sometimes am a little disappointed in the quality of my own videos but I just look at those videos as lessons learned, and still post them.
