I am having some trouble getting subscribers on YouTube!

Does YouTube need to help people with their YouTube channels'?

I've Got It
I get views everyday but I don't get subscribers everyday! I may only get 1 or 2 subscribers a week, this is not good for my channel.

I have had a YouTube channel for 3 years now and I am shocked to only see that I only have 43 subscribers. After all the hard work that I put in to making YouTube videos this is what I get in return a lack of subscribers.

YouTube expect you to do all the hard work and on top of that they expect you to get a lot of views yourself, YouTube should help it's users gain some views and some subscribers at least. So people can stop complaining about not getting a lot of views and subscribers, if this happened everybody would be happy with their YouTube videos and not p****d off!

100 hours of videos are uploaded to youtube every minute.

You think they should promote them all equally? Your stuff would never get seen...

Also they do promote channels and content. YouTube wants people to stay on the site just as much as you want people to view your content. This is why they have 'recommended channels' to subscribe to on the homepage. Or offer to subscribe to someone after you've seen several of their videos. Or why they have suggested videos... etc, etc, etc.

It is impossible and unreasonable to expect youtube to help small youtubers,
I am upset that I have only 2 subscribers (not really upset but I would like somewhere around9 million :) )but, I don't think that youtube should hire people to help me

YouTube shouldn't have to do anything. You should be happy they provide the help that they do already.

Just by a quick glance, I can tell why you don't get many views/subs. Your videos aren't that unique, and it's not something people are going to search for. They don't look professional, and doesn't look like you put a lot of time into presenting them. You need to look at your channel from the viewers point of view.

For example, your titles. These need a lot of work. "My first dubstep song" isn't much of a appealing title. Give the song a name or something. "black ops 2 multiplayer gameplay" isn't much of a title either. Look at other channels that upload black ops videos and see how they are naming the videos.

The thumbnails need a lot of work too. They need to be something catchy and professional. If you were scrolling through, most people won't even click on any of those videos because the thumbnails aren't catchy. Some of them (for example, the "my first dubstep song") doesn't even have anything to do with the video. Why is there a car? Does the song have anything to do with a car? not really.

You need a theme. You upload random videos, ranging from gaming to music, even music you don't have the rights to upload. (For example, The David Guetta song).

If you are wanting to expand and grow your channel, you need to do something that people are going to search for, and be unique. COD videos are the most oversaturated videos on the market right now. Not many people are going to find your videos, especially when they don't have a interesting title and thumbnail.

So you shouldn't be blaming YouTube. It's not their fault you aren't getting views or subscribers, it's how YOU are running your channel.

Ok thanks for the help! I will take your advise.

lol be happy if ya get like 1 or 2 subs a week XD Most pples get none a week or even a MONTH! Slow start for an awesome end ;D

You joined Youtube out of your your own so you can't get upset with Youtube. It can be difficult but if you keep at it, the numbers will increase. :) Don't give up! What if you tried changing content? Maybe you'll have a better audience?

Lmfao. Why the heck is YouTube responsible for your channel? You really need to stop blaming others for your lack of success and consider what you can do to improve and change to get results. No one's gonna do the work for you.

I had this issue but I've managed to gain many subs this month by adding annotations to my videos, trust me the odd person will sub if you keep it up. But this is just my advise.
