Well it really can't be helped, that community has a lot of immature people, it is almost the equivilant of a call of duty subreddit. If you make something extraordinary, I'd take the next step and post in r/gaming. r/tf2 is mostly a great community, I can agree to that. I could get with the whole vagina/******* swap, since they're so close anyways, and it would actually make doggy a bit more comfortable. As for the green I don't care, but you lost me at eats s**t for sustenance, sorry but I'm not much of a scat person.

I started my channel for Let's Plays 2 years ago, but eventually expanded to reviews and previews as well. At 1 point I was getting close to 10,000 views a month but then the bottom started falling out, now getting around 4,000 views a month. It's time for a new direction, do you think I should start focusing in on tutorials & short videos for awhile to build my base back up before relying on LPs?
 
hey man about 2-3 weeks ago I got a huge shoutout from smosh games and am now at 9300 subs but after gaining the 7500 subs from their shoutout ive been losing about 35-50 subs a day which is crazy because im gaining 50-70 a day which has my channel looking like its at a stand still. im trying to figure out if its something to do with my content or if people are dropping off because I upload 1-2 vids a day udually 1 though. I have read your the small stay smaller post and my gateway video is my THE LAST OF US lets play KINDA part 4 that's on my channel. I don't know whats going on because ive been continuing the series as people really enjoy my last of us lets plays. but im still losing so many subs a day. can u explain why and hopeful give me a solution to this problem?

It's 2 different types of content, if you want people to watch your let's plays, you shouldn't get them to subscribe for your reviews.[DOUBLEPOST=1377361339,1377361293][/DOUBLEPOST]

That's generally what it's like with shoutouts, they do it just because they like smosh, then some of them realise they're not actually into watching your content, so they unsubscribe.

Thanks, I think things are starting to make sense about what happened. Now I just have to find a way to get the channel back to where it was before
