Conceptualized and put forward by entrepreneur Elon musk, this conceptualized fifth mode of transportation would take advantage of near vacuum low pressure environments The idea is that because it is traveling in near vacuum states, there is little to no drag which means a possibility of traveling at insane speeds at around an ideal 1,300 km/h. Although there have been many Hyperloop-esq concepts within the last century or so, It wasn’t until recently that the hyperloop concept really gained momentum and attention. Elon Musk not only brought it up and popularized it in a much more detailed and pragmatic manner, But also only recently have we also the technological means to prove the feasibility and pragmatism of such a mode of transportation.
