How would you spend 1000 on your channel?

First, I would thank whoever that person is because that's just an awesome gesture. I would then go on spending the money on building my own PC, something much better than my current one that would be able to record at 1080P60 and edit videos with no problems. I can dream right?
 
Brand new PC for 500-700$ (quad-core CPU, 8GB of RAM, GPU with 2GB of VRAM, 500W PSU would be new, hard drive and case don't need to be new) , others would go to camera gear (like some 1080p recording phone, tripod and some USB mic for basics)

I agree with this. I recently broke my fluid head whilst trying to quickly dolly backwards with an FS700 attached... Too much weight... too much gusto.... almost broken camera....

And who can't use another lav mic?

My C100 Mark II is heavier that what my tripod should have on it, so I need to upgrade to something stronger.

For the most part one is enough for what I do but it would be nice to have another one.

Cartoni H100 HiDV... but the FS700 was decked out with zeiss primes, two Anton Bauer batteries, an odyssey 7q, matt-box and a rig so it was riding pretty heavy! haha

... the HiDV's are great if you're just using a DSLR with no extras... anything else is just uncivilized. ;)
 
Mic's and lights.

I am finding these 2 to be far more important than video quality.
