How well do you know your subscribers?

That is the same experience I am facing on my channel

With our channel we actually have met a couple of our subscribers personally. On our facebook page families will submit pictures of their kids watching our show, and we love to see that so much. One of our main characters (another father that loves our show) actually met up with us, and is now one of the actors that appears once a month in our videos.

I've become friends with some of my most active subscribers and others I chat with in the comments, but haven't met yet. There's a large chunk of subs that watch, but don't interact, so I don't have any connection with them, really. I love that I've been able to meet some of my best friends through the YouTube comment section though!
 
I'd say about 15-25% of the people subscribed to my channel comment regularly and seem really engaged, a of that 15-25% I'd say maybe 10% have actually gone on to become friends of mine online who I talk to on facebook and hang out with on and off on various pages and message boards. the remaining 75-85% I never see or hear off of. they might give me the occasional like. but other than my views roughly always equalling about 80% of my subscribers or greater I wouldnt know they were even there if they wernt showing up on my sub list :P despite my attemtps to start a conversation xD that being said its all cool :)

im the same way
i mean i know my demographics
but if we're talking about the regular people who always comment, then yes i know them very well too haha
 
there are about 10-15 I talk with every few days. 2 or 3 have been around since early on. They seem like nice enough people but I did have one turn really creepy and crazy out of no where a few months back. its tough. I am the type of person that wants to talk with everyone but at the same time there is a limit.
 
Hi I only have 16 subs to date, I can name them all.
I spend all my time asking them to comment on my videos or on Twitter just to start a conversation.
they ask why they would do that when they can just call me up :(
yes all my subs are friends and family,
oh and one guy from Kenya.
