How to write tags correctly on your youtube videos

As I have been reading so far, tags is a great way for others to see your video, but my question is how do you exactly write the tags.

For example your title is "Imagine by John Lennon Guitar Cover"

Should I write this by words, phrase, or sentences if you have several phrases or words, how do you separate them, is it by apostrophe or coma or what symbol to use?

Reason for asking is that sometimes if I check and edit my uploads, the tags I wrote disappear so I need to rewrite them again. Highly appreciate it if you can provide some samples for those who will respond.

I'd also like to know. How do you seperate your tags? Commas, apostraphe's etc? When Youtube suggests a tag it formats it in a particular way. Should all tags be done like this?

seperate the words with spaces, if it is a double word use speech marks. like this:
games halo "call of duty" funny jamsterkid "the games cast"

Yes we agree it should be related with the title but how do you write them actually and can you state an example.

Here's an example; people are looking for a funny montage of gameplays, so they'll type in "Funny Montage of Gameplays" blah blah. Those are some of the keywords that you should put in your tags yourself. Tags such as; Montage Funny Gameplays Moments Hilarious and so on.

I hope this helps your case.

EDIT: Yeah split them up by commas.
