How to treat your videos?

So I'm having to ask what your routine is for uploading videos. What exactly do you put in your descriptions? Do you use tags? Is there anything else that I need to know for my videos to be fully able to be seen properly and not just hidden away on the darkest corners of YouTube :)

I believe to make good videos all you need is a decent camera and a personality and people will like your videos :) And just tags that would go directly to your video :P[DOUBLEPOST=1430565240,1430565127][/DOUBLEPOST]I believe to make good videos all you need is a decent camera and a personality and people will like your videos :) And just tags that would go directly to your video :P

I upload it, put the custom thumbnail in, put as man tags in as i can that has something to do with the video and i pretty much treat the description part as kinda a blog i guess.

Currently I upload a video and schedule it for the appropriate time for the next day. I have set default upload settings that auto add in my links to twitter / etc and then I fill in a little description above it with a link to the content if it is appropriate, example being a flash game people can check out online for themselves. I create a custom thumbnail and upload that and then save it all. I have playlist settings to add things by name for my series so I don't worry about it, otherwise I add it after it goes live. I also have 4 default tags I use, but otherwise I just add what is appropriate for the content, usually ending up with like 4 lines or something like that, not too many I think. After the video has finished uploading and processing I go to annotations and add the links to my end slate and then I'm done. Hope this has helped. :)
