Hello, I am Ultima Lps. (I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong forum, I'm new here.) I want to start Lping, but I don't know where to start. I have my recording and editing software, but where do I go from here? I would love advice on how to start my channel.

When recording the game make sure you have some good commentary with it. I prefer playing with others because the commentary just comes naturally and easier than playing alone but that's just me. Also depends on what games you're going to play.

@Liquidsolidus9000 is an experienced LPer, and I really like his stuff.
Ask him.

LPing is kind of like kissing (sort of..... for this analogy it is).

At first you are going to suck at it. But that's ok because you can pick crappy games first to practice on. as you find your groove and what makes you different. Make sure to keep track of your progress and watch how you become more entertaining.

Basically don't start with minecraft... that's super boring and overplayed like crazy.

Find a game you like to play, that allows you to react with witty commentary. your goal hear is to make your viewers want to play with you.

Good luck!

A game I suggest: Oblivion (elder scrolls), scp containment breach, garrys mod, terreria. Those should be fun for ya.

I'm flattered XD

I'd say at first to just wing it, and don't try too hard to be something you aren't. As time goes on, you'll get a sorta idea of what your natural niche is and it'll become a bit more second-nature. I'd say to start off, pick games that you really enjoy, so your enjoyment will show through in the commentary.
