How to pay the TEAM?

I've been planning on creating a YouTube Production Team for a while now(like RHPC, Corridor Digital or Rocketjump) but something always bugs me to proceed:

* How do I pay them?

I appreciate my friends helping me out on my vids of course but since I want to achieve a professional YouTuber path, I was thinking of hiring people. But how do I pay them? If I already have one, how do we split the income?

(I hope I put this on the right forum...hehe)

You split equity (percentage owned in the venture/company). Then based on how much equity each person owns, you divide the income accordingly.

Set aside a certain amount to be paid for expenses & growth, then pay out the rest.

How do you know how much equity each member gets? :wideyed2::wideyed2::wideyed2:

Think of equity as a share of the pie. How much they get depends on how much work they do, how committed they are, and how big a part of the team they are.

If they are doing the same amount of work as you, and are as committed as you, then a equal split is fair. This would be a partnership. 3 partners, each getting 33% each, or 4 partners, each with 25% each.

Otherwise, you just estimate the amount to start. You can always adjust later if they become a bigger part.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ANSWERING! XD
