How to make a video you already uploaded live?

I see youtube channels have their videos playing live but when you go to their description the first time they uploaded the video was years, months or weeks ago. How to do that? I've been searching all over but most of the videos talk about how to actually go live. I want to make an old video/ previously uploaded video live.
