How to keep your subscribers active?

You're always going to have inactive subscribers. There's no way to avoid that.

Interact with your audience as much as you can. Respond to comments, messages, tweets, everything. Show them you actually care about them.
 
Every subscriber is not going to watch every video for every channel they are subscribed to.
Getting two out of seven to watch is pretty high to be honest with you.

Its such a let down though. Especially when you were doing good than outa no where it just stopped[DOUBLEPOST=1398738038,1398737596][/DOUBLEPOST]

Then why subscribe then. The whole point of subing is because you wanna see more videos from that person.
 
Your YouTube channel works the same way a TV channel does and should even be treated as such if you can. You may have a favourite channel on TV but you don't watch every single show they broadcast, you may even reach a point where you no longer watch anything on that channel after a time. Same happens with YouTube. The most you can do is try to keep engaging the audience as much as possible but these things are generally out of your control a lot of the time, if they weren't then all of us would be much better off lol
