How to handle requests?

Hello,

Since I have some kind of a "music" channel, I do receive requests for new songs in the comments section. The are quite a few different requests, and I don't have time and/or feel like to do all the requests :).

If I say: I put it in a bucket list, you made something like a promise. Is there a way to comment nicely to that and not creating promises?
 
If I was in ur place, I take one request at a time, otherwise I wont reply them coz I never promise even if they think its a promise lolzx
 
As long as you do what you enjoy, and have fun with it, I'd say go for it. Be sure to comment on their requests, even if it's just to say you'll consider it.
 
Just spitballing here but you could make a new series in which maybe once or twice a month you do someones request. That way you can do requests but also maintain doing your own thing plus it helps makes your channel interactive.
 
Thank people for their suggestions, but don't commit to anything. If you know for certain that you won't do it, you could tell them why, if you think they can handle it.
 
I guess either you can just work with the people whom you feel would be fun to work with or you can just maybe make something fun out it by possibly picking a person randomly monthly or weekly depending on your free time.
 
Thanks for the suggestions! Making one request takes more time then doing something for my own... I need to familiarize with their music before I could produce something uploadworthy :)

Actually I have been inviting people to make requests within a them I give them, and say I will write down the first time someone requested it along with their youtube name. Then If I make it down the line, I acutally put a slide at the beginning saying requested by: then I add their name. It ia a way of saying you will do suggestions from time to time and give the subscribers credit in a way, but not promise anything

Yes I do that too. But what do you write as reply when several different people makes different requests?

I do get requests for like: anaconda, coco, LOTR, 1000 miles, etc :roflmao2:

I did put together a google doc and published it publicly. I wrote down the date, their youtube user name, and the suggestion, then what ever suggestions I do, I write filmed tutorial in red next to the suggestion.
