How to Grow as a Small Youtuber

hey everyone. I'm a Youtuber, much like many of you. I was wondering what a small YouTube channel could do to help get more fans and maybe build a community.
 
I understand your struggle, but I think its just trying to rank your videos and join forums like these. I feel like these forums will help you get a baseline and after it'll just snowball. Replying to positive comments on your videos is a good one. I realized that spamming videos is not a good thing cause youtube will just push it down the list. I'm personally starting to upload once a week, youtube will still see that you're still active. Good thumbnails is a must. An even more must a good intro. They say you only have 15 seconds to catch someones attention before they click away. Hope I helped! There's more to it, but this is the general advice that I'm giving you.
