How to grow a kids channel

I created a kids channel about a year ago. I tried everything but no results at all. I only get 1 000 views a day from my comments on other videos and THAT'S IT. I never made it to suggested videos not even 1 video during 11 months, when other channels get 10 000 000 views a week. Is there any trick that I know nothing about?

Interesting. May I ask what your average view duration / retention rate from this traffic is?
I am in a similar situation, sometimes the algorithm seams to test my videos in the suggested videos, however, they stay not very long in the suggested.

Audience Retention is pretty good. 5 min or even 7 min per video (60%-70%). I don't know what else to do. I'm about to give up on it. :(

Yep, what's your channel? Without that, can't offer detailed advice. With a channel name, can likely get to the bottom on your issue quickly...
And getting views from comments is... not a strategy for a kid channel, and not for targeting kids viewers - kids don't read comments then click over to discover a channel - generally only s4sbers operate in the comments section in kids channels. Being stuck in s4s comments loops may be your problem, but I'm only guessing...

No that's not true. If it's sub4sub views than how do I get 5 mins audience retention? Those are real kids. When someone comments on your video like this --->>> ,,hefhiefeiuhgeighie" it's a 2 year old child :) The second thing is that your sub numbers doesn't matter at all. I have 10 000 subs and the subscriber based views are less than 1% even though I upload videos constantly. The third thing is that you can't share kids videos on social media. I know a lot of channels who have great videos with more than 100 000 subs but still no reasonable views and btw they are advertising their videos on adwords.

You should really share your channel if you really want help.

Your channel and similar to yours is a great inspiration to me. I have only just started, a complete newbie and trying to learn as much as I can and yours serves as inspiration.

I liked your channel and subscribed to it. You should have more views, but I am an YT amateur, don't really know what you doing wrong.

My aim is also a kids geared channel trying to show affordable toys but I have just started 2 weeks ago or so, a complete newbie so I have a long way to go.[DOUBLEPOST=1481980618,1481980280][/DOUBLEPOST]

Your videos are great fun. I bet you have great fun doing them.
I subscribed to your channel and will hopefully get to your level soon.

Trying to read here as much as I can to improve and bring me up to speed. Thank you.
