How to Get Thousands of Views, Even as a Small Channel!

I have no knowledge or experience with the international streaming limitations. Hopefully someone will chime in who knows more.

This method sounds very interesting. Has anyone else done it and profited too? And I got access to Livestreaming while only at 32 subscribers xD

I have heard from others via comments and twitter that it's helped them. I can't stress enough that the key is the topic. It must be something that many people will be searching for. At 32 subs, it may not be effective. You will need at least 1-5 people watching your stream to help give it the boost from comments and watch time. At 32 subs it's more likely to get 0-1 viewer. Check out my how to get 100 subs on YouTube video. It will help you get there

I've honestly never thought about live-streaming. Is it really that effective? I only DIDN'T live stream because I thought it wasn't really an effective way of promoting video's.

Odd. It seems I was completely wrong!

Well your mileage may vary, but check out my videos list, you will see that even my least successful livestreams got more views, comments, and likes than my regular commentaries and content

I watched a view live-streams after reading this thread and I did see quite successful results for some people. I'm intrigued now!

I have now had more experience with this since the video went up. I find that it is still true. The part I want to emphasize is that the topic is EVERYTHING! When I do a non-topic livestream (such as "Playing COD Ghosts with Friends") the video does about as well as any other video, perhaps 10% better. When I have a hot topic selected, the video easily gets 5-10x more views. My most popular livestream now has 80,000 views, and I have less than 5k subs.

I should also note that you can't expect to put out these videos all the time. Depending on your field, hot topics will come up only time to time. In gaming for instance, key events that can be capitalized on are: new game releases, new console releases, game patch/update releases, console update releases, game info/trailer releases. Times like January, there are no hot new releases, and barely any other updates. This leads to fewer big-hitting videos. Strike while the iron is hot and take advantage of the growth, but also realize it isn't something you can replicate for every video.
