Reddit is so far proving hit or miss, although the Dark Souls reddit has been the kindest, with one user even commenting on a video to give me help and advice for Dark Souls, so take that as you will

Reddit has been very good to me. Most of my pokemon battle videos get about 10-15 views each. But I posted one of them (the one in my signature) on /r/pokemonbattles and it has almost 110 views.

That is pretty good. Yeah, I mean I have had some downvotes on Reddit leading to Thumbs Downs on Youtube, but I can imagine that in time, this will eventually lead to more views and whatnot. Ah Showdown, there's an idea, Showdown is rather quite fun. You played since the X/Y update?
