That probably explains it, its too low a resolution.I don't know its probably 160 x 120 or 320x240

I spent $125 on toom boom so I don't think that's going to happen any time soonIf I were you I would animate in another program other than Toon Boom, I've known people who animated in that and when they switched out they were very happy they did. It limits you and doesn't give you the full creativity of animation.
I animate in After Effects and Flash, both are adobe, I would recommend saving up money for Flash if I were you (Only if you are serious about animation, not just wanting to or a phase), and download the trial.
Was it an impulse purchase or did you look into it when you spent that much? I mean that is kinda cheap for animation software but most people I see who animate in the software's just impulse buy.I spent $125 on toom boom so I don't think that's going to happen any time soon
