Hello everyone, i am interested in doing a collaboration video with someone and although my idea is still in the works i have no clue what to do or how the process works. I use WMM and a photo editor so im limited im sure. How do i recieve someones clip or clips and how do i put them in WMM so i can create the video? Any help would be much appreciated, Thank you in advance :)

You dont have to use each others footage in one video.
You could both either
  • Post each others point of view on your own channels
  • Post one episode each (You do #1, 3, 5, etc. Your partner does 2, 4, 6 etc)
If you are in the same town, you could form a bunch of episodes then move the footage of your partner to your PC via a USB or HDD:

Janzen has it covered, pretty much!

If it helps; for my channel with a friend, we both capture all our footage and I give her my external HDD to put all the footage onto and then I edit it directly from the HDD later.

Yah were not close to one another to share that but ill probably do my video and share there video at the end, something like that would be ok i suppose, thanks.

If you need to share video footage over the net, something like Dropbox would be ideal.

I used to use it for Photoshop/After Effects footage. I'd give it a Google and see how much space you get for free.
