How to deny a collab?

Just simply explain that to them. Or you could say...

"Im sorry but at this time Im not interested in doing any colabs. But keep watching that might change in the future!"
 
Just straight up tell them that you don't have time and that you don't want to
I get a lot of collab requests and I wish I could do them :/ But no time!

I find that it's better than leading them on to believe that you owe them a collab
 
Just say you don't have the time to organise it and/or that you aren't looking to collaborate with anyone at the moment. If that's the truth, of course.
 
Honesty is best, you'll soon find out whether they genuinely wanted to collab or just wanted views/subs. But most people shouldn't take it to heart if you're busy/don't want to :)
 
I would probably give them the reason as to why you don't want to collaborate with them. They need a reason for rejection.
 
"Hey. Wanna collab?"
"What does that mean?"
"It means that we would make a video together."
"Oh. No."
 
I think everything you said seems like fair points. I would try to be as honest as possible but also as nice as possible. Just explain that with your schedule you don't have the time and complexity to do the collab.
