How to cover songs on guitar without copyright?

Hey I was wondering how i could cover songs on the guitar without them getting the money taken away because of copyright. Please help.
 
There is no chance, unless you create your own tab for it(near to impossible for most) then there is really no chance sadly
 
You either try to buy a licence to cover the actual song (but that must be renewed from time to time so it's not worth it in my opinion) or join a network like Fullscreen that allows you to monetize your covers (for more info google "fullscreen umpg").

Just from reading up there, so do maker studios! I am going to start doing covers then :D

so if your in a netwrok like fullscreen and i believe maker studios also, can you make cover songs and claim them?

You can monetize certain covers if you are with Fullscreen Artist Mix (FAM). If you are not in that hub, email your partner manager and ask to be placed there. If you are already in that hub, then your FAM dashboard will give you access to a list of songs that you can cover and monetize. Keep in mind that the current dash only has a small number of songs available-the next dashboard update will give you a much wider range of songs to choose from.
