How to bridge the gap?

Hi all! I'm a flower farmer and food grower. Basically, my audience is mainly older women over the age of 35. That's great and all, but id absolutely love some ideas to reach more people and broaden my audience. Can you think of any ideas to reach people beyond the gardening niche? What are some things that would potentially spark your interest in such a channel? Thanks so much in advance.

It looks like you've delved into some other areas...baking, soaps, etc. You could create sections in your channel and start sorting out the different topics. Maybe see what has been popular in the other areas that interest you. Are any of those a passion that you would want to explore more?

You have a good following, so if you can stay within "six degrees of separation" on your channel that would be great!

Try tapping into the Vegan, or vegetarian niche. As they tend to be eating tons of everything not meat, I bet they wouldn't mind growing some of their food themselves. An other niche is the "organic food" niches where people tend to prefer specific types of methods of food production. Basically try to grab people that would have an intrest in growing their own food. Like how the Vegan and Food Growing niches overlap, you can access that niche by using that overlap. I hope I explained that well, Good Luck with your channel!

Speaking from the younger generation, I think it would help a lot to add in some healthy food ideas, and maybe some farm style diys. Adding a bit of lifestyle sort of videos to your channel, would definitely appeal to younger people.

First off, I LOVE that "from a younger generation" means healthier choices and healthier eating! That's awesome. And yes I would highly recommend trying to tap into all these markets. As vegans ourselves, we are always on the hunt for great videos on how to grow, produce, and cook our own meals. I think that would be a great market for you to try and break into!

Thanks everyone. Over time (as things start to be harvested) I've planned on doing more recipes. I recently gave it a try in my Cilantro Rose Salad video and I think it turned out well enough for a first attempt. I'm still working to figure out what I like editing wise, so my editing choices are still all over the place. Lol.

I know there's a ton of interest in the self-sustaining lifestyle movement, as well, so perhaps you could talk about starting a garden that could feed people for as long as possible, and that yielded crops as close to year-round as possible, depending on climate, etc.
