How to block somebody?

This guy has went on a commenting spree, and is replying to comments on my videos and commenting himself. How do i block him, cos i'm on his channel page and can't seem to do it ;/
 
If you want to block him so he can't write comments at all on your channel, then go to the person's "about" page, then click on that flag bottom right and choose "block user". The only downside is they'll get an error message informing them you've blocked them the next time they try to write a comment. That might actually end up fuelling the fire even more.

I prefer just choosing "hide this user's comments" like @Riddikore said. :) - That way they don't realise they've been flagged. They still see their own messages and I like the idea of them wasting lots of time writing messages that nobody else will see ^^.

Ah ok that sounds like a good idea, but will they be able to reply to other people's comments on my videos?

If you choose "hide this user's comments", yes, but nobody will see the spammer's replies except the spammer. The people he's replying to won't get any alerts or see the replies (and neither will you.)

He is under my 'hidden users' section which says 'Comments from these users won't show up' so i think i've done it thanks :)
