How to best promote your channel?

I've wondered what is the best way to get people to be aware of your channel.
I have a schedule now and try here and a couple other forums.
Also tried though twitter, but wondered if there was anything i could do what i am missing.
Maybe im just being impatient (probably the case) but wondered if anyone had any ideas, thanks.
 
I'll say patient is really the key, just keep uploading more content and someday you'll be with it. By the way, I also share my videos on Pinterest, Google+ communities and Facebook.
 
thanks for the feedback. i do use Google + as well, don't have a pinterest. Facebook is the main one i could use, like set up a page just for YouTube. ill look into that

I agree with Christian. The best thing to do is not give up and try to stay as consistent as possible with your uploads
 
Patience really works, but if you wanna hurry up, make collabs, try to be more active in forums over here :D
You'll definitely get noticed :D
