How silly is too silly?

Reminds me of the Colonel in Monty Python:

(watch til the end)

:D
See my question is like... how did those guys take themselves seriously? But, legitimately. I've seen them in interviews, they talk about their comedy as their "craft" and talk about "studying" it and all this stuff. And in ways I feel like I have natural comedic ability but I can't take myself seriously. I can't even bring myself to say "I do a comedy series on youtube!" sometimes cause it feels more correct to me to say "I act like an idiot in public sometimes" lol... But no I mean... I should chill. Always. And forever.

I... honestly think I kinda get what you're saying. This is all about confidence isn't it... You just have to own your full self instead of trying to "put a best foot forward"... ARGGGG And if a grandma had a p***s she would not be a grandpa, she'd be a hermaphrodite, DUH.

Look its a good quote if you dont think too much about it, okay? :D

Well there is not such thing as best foot forward to begin with, everything has an upside and a downside.
Even if I go out an cure cancer and abolish poverty, in 10 minutes someone is going to send me an angry message saying "I liked my cancer and having no food to eat, bring it back", thats the way it is. And people who want to find flaws and issue, will due something else.

When I was in high school, the principle always called my parents up with some s**t complains. Then in the last years, I got my s**t together and became one of the leading students, and they still called my parents, only this time to b***h that I had long hair and s**t. There is no winning with some people. However.

In the end of the day, your world is yours, you are the only important person in your life, because in the end of the day, you are the one looking at yourself in the mirror, you are the only one capable of judging yourself fully, as well as know what you did and how you done it. You know your intentions and motivations, and the full picture behind your life.

So because of that, you can not factor the "what if" statement in an irrational matter, because it will eliminate YOU as the key person in YOUR life, and put everyone else (not only that, usually its parties that you do not even know well, such as "random people who might see me") in the center of your life.

And that is just not a healthy lifestyle. I am not saying that you have to not think about other people, because that is a d**k move to do, you have to acknowledge friends and family and so on, however you have to always go "doing this makes me happy and enjoy myself, and I am not harming anyone".

And what you are describing with "I look at that and think "What if a potential business I'd want to be a part of saw this?"...." this is only a problem, when you are not in a consensus with your self and what you do.

These kinds of "threats" have only power unless you give them power. But if you know, that doing your videos and blogs, makes your happy, improves the quality of your life, and gets you of your bed, than so what. That issue becomes meaningless, since you are at "peace", cheesy way of putting it, but cant find another word for it, with yourself. :)

I hope you see what I mean, since I am not good with words :D I usually start waving my hands and making sounds, to express myself :D

OMG haha I've never seen that clip. That's fantastic.

No no...you've always used to. In the two years I've known you anyway :D haha :p
When I say "used to" I always mean in my early 20's before my mid 20's life crisis LMAO[DOUBLEPOST=1398776562,1398776372][/DOUBLEPOST]

From start to finish, Bravo. I guess what I need now is motivational tapes or a Yes Man.

That's because with growing up comes maturity...and you feel like society tells you to act a certain way...........but there's no reason you can't have it all. Maturity, with silliness...you have to find a balance...you have to find a way to be confident that what you're doing is what you want to be/should be doing. As we wander through life, we'll maybe never find ourselves. But being ourselves is part of that journey..right? Gawd I've gone all sappy. Imma slap more people

You know in all seriousness though I still think I have somewhat of a point here. Not that you shouldn't be silly, but to couple with your idea, perhaps I should have thought about branding myself in the beginning. Having a music channel, a channel for real thoughts and points and me being more serious, and a channel to let the "WTF IS HE DOING" side out. I think it got weird when I would go through phases on my channel and I saw the reactions. But I guess... that's why I did what I just did eh? Now Symphonious7 is SymphStuff, and it will just be STUFF.

I've opened the music channel and that's gonna be what it is, me just documenting the recording process, and then I secretly have planned to open the final channel just called "Symph" And that's where I want to put my highest quality work and all that. I think it would have been wise to do that in the beginning but like my main man LR said, you can play the "what if" "Wish it'd been" game all day but it amounts to cheese whiz.

Maturity doesnt mean schizophrenia or loss of identity. Maturity means a comprehension of the world as well as actions you take, as well as responsibility for your grown a** :D Those things are very different. I seen grown men, with zero responsibility and I wouldnt call the mature :P

And the world always told you what to do, its just that with certain age you see it and feel it more. For god sake, high school alone, atleast for me, is basically a 1 to 1 copy of the clip from Pink Floyd The Wall :D
I know right, why not just get a puppy.
Ou god, I can barely take care of myself, let alone someone elses being, who doesnt even speak the same language as me :D

Ou they are, hence why I dont have one. I dont want to wake up one day and hae the cute puppy dead on my living room carpet, because I forgot that you know, they eat :D

I have a plant, and I can barely remember to water it once a week :D
