How Often To Change Channel Art

I've Got It
So I tend to change my channel art, including an end card quite often. I think I have improved at making them each time to make my channel look better. Is this a good idea?? Why or why not?
 
It depends on how often you do it. Like every 3 months? Every month?

Every three months or seasonally could be a good idea. People like consistency and sometimes longevity of one certain thing. With channel art it may be difficult because many YouTubers usually change their art when they update their channel content, like a reboot, sort of. It can also be good because some people like to see new things quite often. I say you shall do it as you please, I'm sure you will be fine!
 
i think i've had mine for a couple years not. im not bored of it yet and i don't think i have enough people that go in to my channel page to really bother to look at it haha. so i think i'll keep it for the rest of the year and then change it sometime next year.

but if making channel art is something you're good it i don't see the problem with changing it frequently. as long as its not every day :)
 
It depends on you and your liking. Most people wont change theirs like ever for their YT career. But its all on the person honestly.
 
Change it as often as you like, I don't people really mind if you change a lot or if you stick with the same one for years, as long as it looks cool.
 
I think you should change whenever you feel that a change you make would be good and worth it. If whatever you come up with fits in with the rest of your branding then I dont see why you cant do it every few months or so.

Thank you! I usually change it every three months, but I did'nt know if that was too often! Thanks for the advice!
 
I think it's okay to change your channel art as much as you want, but only as long as you feel as if it is an improvement from your last one. I personally would not ever change your channel logo, I feel as if it's unprofessional to change your whole channel's looks unless it's just a remastering of the original design
 
I've changed it like once a week, but I'm pretty new. Another thing is having your schedule, name, and social media on the art is pretty good. I don't like the idea of changing thumbnails too often though.
