How often do you upload?

1-2 per week.
I just want to upload high quality videos so it takes me a lot of time to plan it, shoot it and edit it.
If a channel uploads more then 2-3 videos/week I would unsubscribe because I don't want to watch so much anyway and I hate it to be spammed.

Quality videos take time to edit. I try to post at least 2-5 videos a month. I've spent months editing just one video, I guess it depends on your content. I'm starting to do more tutorial videos - iPhone, iTunes, and other Software help, I let my subs decide mostly what tutorials they want.

I used to be quite frequent. Had no set upload days. But now I'm quite infrequent due to work and life.

Every 1-3 weeks...I know that sounds bad, but we're a comedy/parody channel, so it's kind of a production to put everything together. Plus we're high school seniors with "real" jobs.

Once a week so I don't run out of ideas and so everyone who hasn't seen the new one can see it without getting behind on new uploads. I'm curious as to why channels with zero following upload daily or even more than once a day - nobody is seeing any of it and if by chance you have one fantastic video in that pile, it'll get buried.

Definitely. Spacing your videos out over a period of time helps your videos get more views. I've scaled back from posting daily because of that reason.

Yea, that's what I noticed. I'd put out really good videos, but because I was putting them out so fast they didn't get great stats. Once I started to pace myself I saw the difference.

Today I did two but it was for a certain reason. I set up a schedule I will follow next week. 5 uplaods a week. Vlogs on tues and thurs and games on mon,wed and fri

I'm aiming for at least one upload a day, now I'm fairly small so uploading so much will help me grow although I do think doing so many videos does impact on the quality some what. I'm putting in around 30hrs a week so I hope the hard work helps

So how often do you upload?

Since starting on Youtube, I've tried daily vlogs 5 times and failed each time. I posted sporadically too but that never really did much either. I now upload Monday - Thursday on a set schedule. My best advice is to find something you're comfortable with creatively and time wise. Otherwise you may end up giving up.
