How Often do you post videos a week?

Hey everyone, I was just wondering how often do you post videos a week? I am up to 2 videos a week, and that's pushing it for me. I just don't have the time for more with work full time and college. I feel like I should be doing at least one a day though because, although I am growing, the pace feels much slower compared to other youtubers who do similar content that I do. Should I make even more time to get more uploads? or is two videos good for now?

With my job I can only really do 1 video a week. I used to do 3 a week on my old channel but I didn't have time for anything else so I decided to cut down. I would love to do more but until I move closer to my job I'm happy with 1. Just gotta make sure it's a good one!

I figured I shouldn't worry too much to begin with, I know I'll grow over time, maybe not as quickly as I'd like but at least I'm not getting stressed out doing so. The whole Youtube thing is supposed to be enjoyable right?

On average, I upload 1 video every 2 weeks. So that means 0.5 video in a week? :D I guess it depends on the type of content you create though.

That is very true Peter.

Vlogs, from what I see, typically require little editing. I've seen some vloggers go all out but 90% of the time it's a straight forward video.

Gaming varies wildly depending on the games, the type of commentary, the level of editing, if it's a lets play/walkthrough/tips/reviews.

Comedy and Educational channels don't necessarily have a release schedule because each video is essentially a separate project that may require different amounts of time and resources. I guess music can fall into this category as well.

3 times a week on my FIFA channel & 5 times a week on my Gaming channel (though I've been slacking over there lately as I've been quite busy doing stuff on the outside world!)

I just decided to post every monday and thursday, but i donæt promote that yet, in case i will regret that later. My experience so far is that i get a steady flow of viewers to my latest videos + the previous ones for about 48 hours after posting, so i try to wait until the views are about to go down before i post a new one. If the audience seem to want more, then i will consider that. Im just trying to get the view count up on my videos to have a high average view count really, instead of posting every day and make people kind of fed up. Makes sense? I don't know...

It's hard for me to even post once a month to be honest. That's mostly because school takes up most of my time and when I lived in dorms, I didn't have all of my recording equipment. During the summer though, I typically upload about once every 2 weeks. Hopefully I'll be better about posting now that I'm moving into an apartment!

Maybe you could try to post videos that takes a little less efford, like simple tag videos? Just a suggestion:) I just imagine it could be hard to keep your subscribers attention in the long run, if they don't get your uploads more then once a month:)
