How often do you clean out your YT sub closet?

For me it's an ongoing thing. I pretty much always know why i subbed to a channel, but it might be that their quality goes down or the channel is going in a direction that doesn't interest me. In which case i usually drop a line to the creator in question saying why i have unsubbed.
 
I un-sub if the person hasn't uploaded in days. Then I feel oh they won't care anyway xD I guess it does fill up your sub box and you can't see what's new.
 
I only go through and clear out my subs occasionally. Usually I unsub from individual people when I realise I'm not enjoying their videos.
This thread has inspired me to go and have a clean out of the channels that I'm subscribed to, though!
