How NOT to gain more subscribers

Right off the bat, his first suggestion is to visit a ton other videos and comment on each one, asking them to check out your channel and subscribe. His second? Basically just subscribe to everyone that offers sub4sub. It goes on from there. Not everything he says is bad, because of course, building a network on Twitter is good to do, but he's just going about everything the wrong way. And the terrible thing is that the comments section of his video is just filled with people supporting these methods, which is probably just hurting their brand more than helping it.

What do you guys think? Do you think there's actually merit to some of the things he's doing?

This guy commented on one of my videos and telling me to subscribe to him but i did not subscribe to him because his videos are bad quality and are not that great to be honest but he could get better over time tho.

Only 2 weeks ago he only had about 200 subscribers now he has over 440 subscribers on Youtube now.

And in that comment section all of his people are asking only for SUB4SUB that is bad!!
I would NEVER do that because SUB4SUB is complete garbage and all you get is dead subscribers.


But he is right about the 2nd step about Twitter as i have been using the same technique and it has been working out very good soo far for me.

In my opinion it is the BEST WAY to grow your Youtube channel and getting active subscribers and views especially if you are a small Youtuber or you are just starting out on Youtube!

Yes and don't do sub4sub thinking this will open you the doors of famebit or brand deals cause they check your analytics and can see if you have many views or not :pompus:

I did not watch the video , to me harassing other people is ridiculous someone left a comment saying "loved the video I made a video on the same subjects check it out" It was a family vlog in Japan I was like NOPE :spin:
 
Guess this guy likes Busch beer because he likes quantity over quality for the price. I will admit I am impressed he destroyed my sub count I have been working on for over 3 months in a matter of days though.
 
He may get subs, but they won't pat attention to him, so it won't convert to views. Which is what you need to make a dollar on YouTube. I find that making friendships with other YouTubers is the best route to go. Then you guys feel comfortable collabing together so that you can grow that way. I've been on YouTube since 2008, and from what I have seen, his methods don't work. Let me know if you guys have any other questions. Would be happy to give my input!
