how much time should i spent on youtube?

We are in earlier stages of our youtube channel !! It takes lot of time to edit & shoot videos & sometimes it is frustating when you do not see response on your videos!!

I want to check in community how much time everyone spend in youtube videos & promotions stuff??
 
I am in a different genre than you so take my answer with a grain of salt. When I am Vlogging I may have 30-40 minutes of material that I cut down to 4-6 minutes of video. Note: generally I am recording whatever comes to mind. Its a daily vlog. My edits in the evening take me about one to two hours. I YouTube because it helps me be productive in my day and forces me to review daily in the evening what I actually did.
 
Actually I set 1 hour target for each video that I edit but sometimes fixing the video output errors and other video inaccuracies take more than 2 hours.
 
I spend as much time as I can (which is not a lot) / Or at least as long as I am in the right frame of mind.
