How much have YOU earned on youtube?

oh right, in that case, im around about double the minimum payment threshold monthly at the moment (varies on time of year) in total ive got around £4,000 from youtube, however that is over the space of 9 and a half years

You have some high quality videos with many views. Does it take long time to animate or why don't you upload much?

Animation takes an unbelievable amount of time to produce, haha. I'm typically surprised when I see channels pushing out at least one video a month of high quality, especially just from individuals.

As for me, I haven't hit the threshold yet and it's been over a year so far. Hopefully the pace will start to pick up, it's been rather consistently stagnant as far as views go.

If you're curious as to /about/ how much people make, Socialblade isn't /that/ far off, from what I've noticed/heard.
 
Social Blade is reasonably close, probably 10 - 20% high, as it tends to calculate using the latest CPM figure, and if the channel is growing that will be evident.

Overall it's a good indicator.

Why do so many people believe this? YouTube cannot legally force you to keep your earnings private. How are you going to pay taxes and get a business license without publicly stating your earnings?
