How much does Freelance Video Editors charge usually?

What kind of editing are we talking about? Jump cuts and sound optimization? Are Animations involved? Do you need a permanent editor or just for one video? How long is the original video length and how long do you want the final?
 
Ive been contacted by a company after they saw one of my videos reviewing ones of their items, who state they want me to do a bit of freelance work for them, although I will probably negotiate a flat fee for the entire project rather then go by hours etc.
