How much do you edit?

When I do commentaries try keeping entire footage but when I do funny moments I edit them :) what about you guys?
 
I edit every video a lot. Most videos we record for 15 minutes and get it down to 4. Music videos on the other hand take about 48 hours to edit all the different shots from different places and so on.
 
Well for me, doing LPs, it's really depending on the game I played. There are some games that don't need so much editing because there would be the risk to lose something about it, while others require a lot of cutting and adjusting(dead air moments to remove or monotonous parts to get rid of) and every day I try to learn something new and finding some cute ways to make the videos better!
 
Since I do list videos. Other than research, writeup, fact checking and voice recording. I'm left with editing every few seconds of the video lol

So yea... A lot ~(' 3')~

Sometimes I'm also picky with the bg music where I even change the compositions a bit to suit the video.

But knowing my editing skills are improving with every video I make is quite satisfying and I'm very proud with my newest video's editing and hopefully it continues with the next ones as well haha

Game Reviews are literally just edits.
Not just cuts but visual edits like moving pictures to voice clips to transitions to audio edits

A normal review takes about 2 days to make but some have taken 4 to 5 days (thanks to hitting 24 minutes on the video)
 
I usually record 30 minutes to an hour of footage and then it really depends on the content. If I'm just sitting at the camera and talking, the editing can take as short as 20 minutes and I'm just cutting it to make it more comedic and fluid. If the content is more sketchy, then it probably takes a little longer of about 40 minutes to an hour. I'm really good and fast at editing since I'm used to the shortcuts. I usually finish the video the night before and then the next day when I upload, I rewatch my video and edit my own edits in case I missed anything!
 
I DONT WANT TO EDIT ALLOT! Because, i want that my viewer have the felling that they are like in the game with me ... you know what i am saying. That people have also the same feeling as me. I record 50 minutes and edit 10 minutes (for example) not much more. If i do a normal gameplay of a more random game tat i only gonna play ones ore twice...i edit more to show the key parts. But yeah, from my main focus (lets plays) i dont edit much.
 
Depends on the intensity of editing I put in my script. Typically if I keep videos short, I try to include more interesting editing. As videos drag on, while I don't necessarily include less heavy edits, I do span them out over the course of the video.

Editing is the slowest part of the process (not that I'm complaining. Editing is fun!) and it typically takes 3-5 days to make one of my videos.
 
Depends on the video. Can take anywhere from 2 hours to several days, depending on length and how much editing and/or post effects are needed.
I make sketch comedy, so a lot of editing is needed.
