Yeah, well that's why YouTube now restrict the size of the spotlight annotation, I think you can't go bigger than 40-50% of the video anymore, mainly because if they made it a rule, their system couldn't enforce it. They can create something that picks up on tags and allow reporting but YouTube are at fault when it comes to annotations because it was just a function of the system, so they fixed it xD

Just looking at all that that's why he will be top results above all of us who stay within the rules and TOS.

I will be truthfull and in the past i have used excessive tags but no more.don't want to lose my channel have spent hours checking and double checking

I just dont know how the little guy stands a chance against that glitch said about 30 times.

And the most IMPORTANT person the poor person searching for a specific guide. they probably wont find a guide showing them what they were looking for will fins someone that does what he does.

To be fair, he has worded it in there correctly, in fact that is how YouTube want people to do it, they want people to include keywords in the description but in sentences, not just spammed. That I don't mind at all, because you still have to go through the effert to word a description like that, although he could have toned down a little bit, you only need the word to show up about 6 times for SEO to pick it up properly lol Tagging in a description is literally just copy and pasting the same crap over and over from your tags or in some people's cases copy and pasting the same word over and over.
 
I keep seeing more and more posts about channels being barred here, there and everywhere as of late and its freaking me out! How often do channels just get blocked out of the blue?? Is this a fairly recently thing or has it always been going on?

There is some new Team ( report404 ) or something like that and there on a BIG push to stop people abusing tags, Lots of people "Viewers" must be complaining because what they search for and what they find are different. We hear about the BIG CHANNELS first and then the rest.

Not to sound dumb but how many tags are too many? I think I saw a post earlier about putting something like 40 lines of tags?? I usually have about 7/8 lines.

Does the tags in your description look like the below or like this "GTAV" "GTA5" "GTA5 glitch"Gta5 Glitches"

does not have to be GTA can be specific to what your videos are about. If its just text explaining your video and you happen to say some keywords a few times you should be OK.
