How many views should one expect for the first video?

Like many here on this thread have said, there are a lot of factors, ranging from titles, descriptions, tags, and mostly content and promotion along with a dose of luck. Content and promotion goes quite far, but I think the initial stages the title, description, and tags play a bit in there too... In conclusion, I think you'll probably get around 50-100 and slowly growing to 200-300 over time, depending on the quality of the video.

In it's first few days my video only got 10 views and I only had one subscriber but because people have gone back to see what my first video was later it now has 160 views.

Mine was a test video with no sound it has about 25 views I must admit the results seem to vary from channel to channel.

I wouldn't say so. Also depends on where the views came from. A single shout out by someone big can get you a lot of views but others don't pass it around it's not really viral...
Indeed, I agree. Sometimes smaller channels could use a bit of shoutouts ;) which means even if the content/quality isn't top-notch, it can easily net thousands of views without much effort.

It depends on the amount of subscribers you have. My first videos got around 5-10 views.
True and also consider active versus dormant subscribers. Active ones are the ones who will watch your videos when you upload them and possibly spread the word of your videos. Dormant ones, on the other hand, would only subscriber for the sake of subscribing (boosting total subscriber count), but not really contributing to viewing your videos. I'd rather have the former than the latter, imho.
