How many videos should I make per week?

I've Got It
I feel like if I don't make enough videos per week... my channel is going to die, soon....
I have lots of " popular " videos, but those are very old.
Sometimes when I have enough motivation I make a new video but I feel like not all of my subscribers are watching it, because... it's youtube.
I think that if a channel doesn't upload much, it just hides the new video being displayed on the feed section of youtube...

^ That apart, how many videos should I make a week? And how many a month?

Ha, we're just having a discussion about upload frequency in this thread -> yttalk.com/threads/question-about-ranking-on-youtube-with-video-uploads.180185 :)

i always recomend a video or two a week.
you have 15,000 subs, thats alot!
most of your videos in the past seem to have 10 thousands of views however i can see a huge drop with your latest video having 4,000 views. and i can see this because there are times where you havent uploaded for a month or 3 weeks. for you i would say make a video or two every week to get your subscriber's interest back

11 per week, and 13 per month

The number of uploads should also match the maximize amount of content you can create that is valuable to your viewers and target audience that happens to be viable and sustainable content.

Typically content that is easy to record for and produce on a regular basis is ideal for what you want to upload the majority of the time. This way it frees up a lot of video editing time in your week to focus on a single major product that's of high production quality.

So if 3 videos a week is good for you to maintain, then stick with that. However, keep in mind that you don't need to be making the highest possible quality content all the time. The value that the content brings to the viewer is more important. Another thing to understand is that each video you make is the potential first time a viewer sees your content. So unless you're doing Let's Play videos for a video game, then it might be a good idea to craft each video to stand alone from one another as much as possible. Also, this discovery through a library of videos is compounded in multiples the more videos a week you upload consistently and if you're able to upload multiple times a day then it accelerates the process further.

I think if you are producing anything outside of "Let's Plays" and "Talking Head" type videos, you'll be given some slack. For example, if you were to do travel videos or animation, people (reasonable ones) will understand these things take time especially if you made a point to your viewers that you do not do videos full time.

keep the schedule. Upload videos in this same day and on this same hour( you can use a google analytic to know what hour and day is the best for you), so your subs will know when to check out your Channel
