How many videos is too much?

I've Got It
I'm asking this because I have tons and tons of videos due to the fact that I try to upload everyday, but there has been weeks and even months where I haven't uploaded any videos. That's one of the reasons I feel that my channel has to many videos and not enough subscribers for the amount of time I invested in it. But one of the reasons mainly is because I didn't stay concistent all the way through.

What are your thoughts? Does it really matter?

as long as they are good videos then thats ok :D[DOUBLEPOST=1477268313,1477268246][/DOUBLEPOST]but the fact you have 2k subs and 50-80 views a video is killing your search results dude :/

Dunno why your channel is like this but you need to get a certain % of your subs to watch your content or youtube will just keep pushing your channel further down the search because it thinks your botting or your content is no good.

Nope... check gradeAunderA. He is usually hard pressed to put even one video out a week. I am the same way (obviously no where near grade with my subscriber count, but that's not the thing this is about).

Upload as much as your subscriber base can tolerate. When you are small it is a colossal waste of time to upload videos every day. It takes too much time to create a good video and you will run out of ideas and stamina. Your content will suffer and then you're done. Edit the heck out of one video and watch it get the same amount of views as your 7 videos. Every video someone watches could be their first. Would you rather they watch one of your mass produced fillers or that highly polished gem you worked very hard on?

I just don't what to do about it, I feel like I make quality videos but i only get a couple views

I think upload once a week and like TheDutchTexan said you will be able to spend more time editing that particular video and film better quality videos. You can also have a que of them lined up so your ready every week.
Which is what I'm trying to do. But I took a week off to gather my thoughts so I can make better quality content.

I think the more number of videos you have published in your channel, the more probability of your channel exposure in the search engine. However, one of my friends used to upload 3 videos daily but later on his channel has been deleted by YouTube. Youtube allows high number of uploaded videos per day only for news channels. I think one video per week is good.

When my computer is up and running i make 3 videos a week. I make sure the quality is there and editing is nice, and sharp. I agree with what uncle eggnog said. the fact you have 2,000+subs and are only getting 50-80 views isnt the best. You may want to focus on releasing less videos, and promote your videos more.

I tend to upload 2 times a week unless I'm away on holiday which I currently am. This means that I can film but have a break as well it also means subscribers are looking forward to something on your channel - for me uploading videos everyday is challenging and should only be done if you take YouTube as a full time job and earn enough money from it.

Once or Twice a week unless you can pull REALLY REALLY quality content. There is people that upload 2 or 3 videos per day and thats pretty crappy. It's gonna kill them in the long run. Quality > Quantity always remember that. I guess when you get around 50 to 100k subs you can pull off 1 video a day if the videos are good quality.
