How many subscribers do you lose per month?

Sam4God

I've Got It
I know everyone loses subscribers every now and then, due to old unused channels being removed by YouTube or people generally losing interest and unsubscribing for whatever reason.

Also, based on my own analytics, the more subscribers you gain, the more you lose as well.

So for instance back when I used to gain about 10 subscribers a month, I'd maybe only lose 1 or 2 in that same month.

But I've noticed since my subscriber growth has gone up, so has the loss. So now, I might gain about 200 subscribers a month, but lose about 20-25.

I've seen videos of huge YouTubers with 1 Million + subscribers, who seem to be losing subscribers every hour (but also gaining a lot!).

Thought it might be interesting to see other people's statistics on this :)

Well I've gained 40 this month and lost 6. All time I've gained 970 and lost 184. Seems like a consistent ratio

There was a big YouTuber not long ago that had a few million subs, and when they did something that wasn't well...morally acceptable, within a few hours their channel had about 10k subs, and was still going down.[DOUBLEPOST=1440550809,1440550786][/DOUBLEPOST]Oh, about 4-5 a month.

Who was this?

This month it says I lost 2. But it's not the end of the month yet so from average it should be 5 subscribers lost per month for now.
