No, I didn't do that. I can't imagine it being a great way to go because I think the comments and views I am getting on the videos is what's generating the subs right? I don't know enough about YT yet.

Yeah sub4sub just gives you dead subs. Basically artificially inflates your subscriber count. A lot of people who get a lot of subs really fast went this route, and it's obvious because they'll have 2k subs and 12 views. They end up paying for it in the long run because they don't have any engagement or organic growth, ranking them very low in youtube's algorithm.
 
I just crossed 868 subs. I started my channel last year, but I've taken a couple of breaks in that time and changed direction relatively recently. Close to 100 of those subs were from this weekend after I posted a video about a PS4 I found in the trash, and I expect as many or more once I post the follow up video after repairing it.
 
Wow some of you all have amazing growth. I started my channel with my sister about 3 weeks ago and have 87. Just waiting for that 100 so we can get our vanity URL!
