How Many Pokemon Fans?

I watched the TV show for a long time and really enjoyed Pokemon till pokemon gold. After that I just found it a little boring so I stopped with it. I also have pokemon cards that I used alot.
 
Thanks for the responses. If i did a video (considering Pokemon Emerald). Would there be a challenge you want, besides nuzlocke challenge?
 
I've never watched Pokemon lets plays but throughout elementary school I was in love with it. I had a huge card collection and I had all the first generation games. *smiles* those were the good days. Now I know almost nothing about Pokemon. I'm looking into getting back into it so I might watch. Just send me a PM if you do so I remember. Now here's a question for you. In what order should I play the games so I can become a true Pokemon master again and relive my childhood? :P

Because of many remakes, start from leaf green/fire red --> Emerald (which i am going to do) --> Diamond/Pearl --> Platinum (optional as there are only a few story differences to D&P) --> HG/SS --> Black/White --> Black and White 2. Basically that is the order from where i think you should start. If you want a change, there are always the Pokemon Rangers series and Mystery Dungeons.

Alright. Sounds great. I was getting a little lost due to the red/blue/yellow/leaf green/fire red thing. Wasn't too sure how different they are from each other but now you've sort of cleared that up for me! :D thanks man
 
I do in fact thoroughly enjoy Pokemon. Maybe not so much the later generations, but I'd like to imagine I know quite a bit from the earlier generations. I'm a fan of the games, card game, and I have watched some of the anime. ;)
