How many people use AdSense? Thoughts?

I don't mean to sound rude, but that's not how it works. I used to think it worked that way, but it actually doesn't. If you're with Adsense, try applying to any other network and it will reject you because you are with Adsense. Each of these other networks are independent and give you a better split usually. Adsense gives 55% to themselves and 45% to you, while other networks give you up to 70% based on the size of your following/channel/fanbase. It's usually based on Views Per Day
I believe it's the reverse with Adsense, where you get 55%.

I'll have to check into networks again if that is the case. They are always messaging me trying to get me to join them. Especially BroadBandTV. But still, I'm often in bad standing due to copyright strikes, so that probably won't work.

Yeah, I had that backwards. It's 45/55, Google keeps 45. But Adsense is reliable and well integrated into the system, so I'm still happy with it.

Do you really believe that MCN's have zero obligations to Google and they can keep all the ad revenue to themselves? I'm pretty sure they have to split with Google (probably same 45%) and then they will take a split from you. If you can prove otherwise, you should provide some solid proof.

Edit:I just checked YouTube help page and came across some useful information. Source.

"When you join an MCN, all your revenue will flow through your MCN’s AdSense account, and your MCN will have access to your YouTube Analytics revenue data. Joining an MCN has no impact on your revenue share with YouTube, which is outlined in your Terms of Service. MCNs typically take a percentage of revenue from the creator’s portion before paying them. Some MCNs also offer additional revenue opportunities, such as brand sponsorships or dedicated sales teams, that may contribute to higher overall earnings for your channel. If a network offers you these services, you may wish to make sure they are specified in your contract."

As I said before, MCN's will take an additional cut for their services leaving you with less even less money. Dedicated sales team can help you, but only if you are generating millions of views per month and if the MCN even has one, to begin with.

I thought those networks just took a percentage of your Adsense earnings for a fee and that the benefit was that you got access to a music library to be able to use. But last time I checked, they don't like channels that are in bad standing and mine is in bad standing half the time.
They do work like that. AdSense is not a network, it's basically YouTube's way of paying you for putting ads on your videos. YouTube pays you 55% of the money they make on your monetized videos. If you sign with a network they will take 10-40% of that 55% you make on YouTube and they don't give you sh*t for it in return.

About the Networks:
I'm not with a network, but I am very sure that Google still get's their 45% and the MCN and you share the other 55%. That's why I don't plan to ever join one.

About AdSense itself:
Generally I like it since it's very easy to use. But yes, compared to 2014 the RPM is falling a lot. Even during European Soccer Championship and Olympics the rise of RPM wasn't that big. Only during Christmas the RPM get's back to where it should always be.

I'll take the L on this one. Guess I'm wrong. Still, you don't have to use Adsense as your only way of making money on YouTube.

Are there any other ways to make your millions beside AdSense and a network? I'm only using AdSense at the moment...
