How many people use AdSense? Thoughts?

I use it but I don't like it. Inconsistent RPM, rarely updates, high pay threshold, only a 55% pay and doesn't really have any other benefits or ways it helps.

We just started using it but arent a huge fan of it. The only thing good about it is that if youre a small channel you can use it to start making low amounts of money. and low means very low.

It was very profitable one to two years ago. Now you need to make closer to million views per month to generate some meaningful earnings (of course it depends on your content too).

I use it. If not through Adsense, how else would you get money?

I get about 6% of a penny per view.
Well you actually don't have to use Adsense for a revenue network. There are many others out there, and even more for gamers. Those networks will give you a higher pay cut, more opportunities and services, but they don't have he ease of use and security that Adsense gives you by running directly through YouTube.

I thought those networks just took a percentage of your Adsense earnings for a fee and that the benefit was that you got access to a music library to be able to use. But last time I checked, they don't like channels that are in bad standing and mine is in bad standing half the time.

It's alright. They pay is very very low and you need to be a decently sized channel if you actually want to make money with it.

I don't mean to sound rude, but that's not how it works. I used to think it worked that way, but it actually doesn't. If you're with Adsense, try applying to any other network and it will reject you because you are with Adsense. Each of these other networks are independent and give you a better split usually. Adsense gives 55% to themselves and 45% to you, while other networks give you up to 70% based on the size of your following/channel/fanbase. It's usually based on Views Per Day
