Well you actually don't have to use Adsense for a revenue network. There are many others out there, and even more for gamers. Those networks will give you a higher pay cut, more opportunities and services, but they don't have he ease of use and security that Adsense gives you by running directly through YouTube.I use it. If not through Adsense, how else would you get money?
I get about 6% of a penny per view.

I don't mean to sound rude, but that's not how it works. I used to think it worked that way, but it actually doesn't. If you're with Adsense, try applying to any other network and it will reject you because you are with Adsense. Each of these other networks are independent and give you a better split usually. Adsense gives 55% to themselves and 45% to you, while other networks give you up to 70% based on the size of your following/channel/fanbase.
