how long ?

I prefers my videos short. If it's really funny, I like long videos but the reason I go on to Youtube is for those short videos. About 1-3 minutes. So I guess, short & straight to the point. :)
Although it does depend on the type of video you're making so keep that in mind.
 
simple ... depends on the content, i mean if it a vlog then i like it when they go to the point and actualy talk about something interesting (not like i do moust of the time) that gets me interested in to listening and not too long and if its gameplay then sure if you can make the gameplay interesting then make it as long as you want bcuz ppl ARE gona watch ... (if its interesting ofcuors like finding alot of secrets or something similar)
 
Sounds like you are doing Tutorials and Reviews? If that's the case you just need to have all the information put out clearly and length isn't so much of an issue. Once you put out videos, you can check your retention and figure out if they are too long.
